Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is an actress, model and inventor. Melissa George began her modeling career as a model and actress in the Australian market, and then moved to Hollywood. George is a Perth native who became interested initially in skateboarding and dance. George first began modeling when she was in her teens and she was named the title of Western Australia's Teenage Model in 1992. Her screen debut came next year, in an episode from Seven Network s soap opera Home and Away . The big screen debut came with Dark City, a mystery thriller. Her subsequent roles included support roles in projects such as Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005 she made her debut mainstream Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. She is currently one of the sought-after Australian expats working in the American film and entertainment industry. Being an entrepreneur George has brought her personal invention Style Snaps into the market.
