Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on June 13, 1986, in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the first child of Ellen and Gerald Dennings. Her mother, Ellen, was a writer and speech therapist. Meanwhile, the father of her, Gerald, was a molecular pharmacologist and college professor. Dennings is the smallest of five children, who was raised in a family that was all Jewish. Dennings was homeschooled and only short time in traditional school.
