
Stevland Haraway Morris (ne Judkins) was born on May 13, 1950. He is known as Stevie Wonder and is considered a pioneering musician and an influence on musicians from diverse genres, from rhythm and blues, jazz, soul, gospel to jazz. A virtual one-man-band, Wonder's use of synthesizers as well as other electronic instruments in the 1970s reshaped the conventions of R&B.
